My Happy....

So I haven't done a lot lately, been in a rut trying to re-capture my dream, thoughts and aspirations as to where I want my photography to go, someday :) I have realized I may not be the best nor will I ever be, I can only grow and become the photographer I want to be if I try, take advice and push - then maybe one day I will make it! It all comes down to having people see things the way I do, through my shots and having the clients, family and friends to follow! Anyways..... I was able to get Riley to help work on some shot's out of creations throughout the house and "studio", he also helped pick the accents in his sitting :)

I participated in a workshop today with an amazing photographer, Ashley Stone. I truly enjoyed the hands-on approach she had to helping us learn and grow our photography skills! Thanks to the gorgeous bride who dealt with being told to "do this, move that" from everyone! Below are just a few of the shots I have gone through so far.....

Just wanted to give a huge thanks to Sound Lizzard Productions for letting me enjoy and photograph the amazing Daphne Nichols and Morgan McPherson show last night! Great show and great turnout...it was fun getting to try my hand at an indoor, low lighting setting! Thanks Again!

Happy....

It makes me so happy to see spring coming through in different ways everyday! I must say Spring and Fall are my favorite season's because they both display so many bright and happy colors! Just wanted to show some of the "spring is coming" things I have seen.....

Oh yeah...and my crazy child who doesn't like his clothes, but I love his sweet innocent happiness...

Just wanted to give a taste of what I'm working on this week : ) I had so much fun last Sunday with princess Sarah and Suzy walking around the gardens.....here's a few I have gone through so far!

Been editing a cute couple's engagement shots from last weekend, at night over the past week, ofcourse after my lil man goes to bed. After last weekends FUN shoots with 2 awesome little boys and a fun couple it really hit me how much I want to grow, learn and prosper as a photographer! Yes, I am not 100% pleased with myself (probably never will be, I'm my own worst critic) but I believe I am getting better and better! I love being behind the lens and working to capture the moments that I personally adore to look at everyday of my own little family and I want to be able to give that to everyone. I'm extatic to have fun with a 4 yo princess this weekend and can only hope for more fun to come over the next weeks, months and years......I know what I want to try, achieve and become but just have to work, push and attempt to make it there, I know it won't happen overnight and it's going to take some sacrifices on my part and my little familys part but it's worth it for something that keeps me up until 1am when I have to be up again at 530am for my "day" job..maybe this can be my day job in the future :)

I must say again...Thank You a million times to my little family (Jennifer-big time thanks!!) and my friends (clients are friends too) who have supported and pushed me along the way!Ohhhhh and I can really can't wait for spring and it's happy colors!!!
